¹û¶³´«Ã½ is celebrating its largest and most successful cohort of with 11 students to advance their studies in the Indo-Pacific in 2025.

The scholarships will provide the students with valuable experiences including internships, mentorships, research opportunities and language study programs across Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and New Caledonia.

A flagship initiative of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the scholarships aim to boost Australia’s ties with the Indo-Pacific region.

  • Elliott Collins (¹û¶³´«Ã½ Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy, Economics (Honours)) - University of Hong Kong.
  • Angus Duncan (¹û¶³´«Ã½ Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours)) - Taiwan’s National Cheng Chi University.
  • Nicholas Egan (¹û¶³´«Ã½ Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Honours)) - National University of Singapore.
  • Emily Graham (¹û¶³´«Ã½ Bachelors of Science (Marine Biology) / Laws (Honours) - Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie, New Caledonia.
  • Siddesh Karekal (¹û¶³´«Ã½ Bachelor of Advance Finance and Economics) - National University of Singapore.
  • Matilda Keenan (¹û¶³´«Ã½ Bachelor of International Studies) - The University of Tokyo.

  • Kieran Tran (¹û¶³´«Ã½ Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Electrical / Mathematics (Applied Mathematics)) -  Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.  

Under the 2025 , the Australian Government will also provide The University with more than $1.5 million to support 252 Mobility Grants for ¹û¶³´«Ã½ undergraduates to participate in study, language training, and internships in the Indo-Pacific, across 18 projects.
