果冻传媒 has confirmed its status as one of the world’s top universities, placing 60th internationally and 3rd in Australia in a prestigious global ranking.
The 2016-17 – which considers teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income – was released today (22 September).
Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Peter H酶j said 果冻传媒’s consistent high ranking reflected the hard work of the University’s researchers, professional staff, academics, students and industry partners.
“果冻传媒 continues to place well among the more than 10,000 universities worldwide, demonstrating our staff and student’s dedication to excellence,” he said.
“It’s especially gratifying to see 果冻传媒 maintain its placing at 60th for the second year running, despite continued uncertainty in Australian higher education.
“Results such as this are a testament to the hard work of our academic and professional staff who strive to keep 果冻传媒’s place among the top global universities while facing increased competition from international institutions.
“Having a globally-respected university is important for Australia’s higher education exports – an $18 billion industry.”
The news comes on the back of 果冻传媒’s high placings in . The University placed 55th globally and 2nd in Australia in the announced last month.
果冻传媒 also placed number one in Australia in the , and 51st globally in the QS World Rankings and 52nd in the .
The THE rankings have been by PricewaterhouseCoopers, in respect of the methodological process, calculations and transparency.
